Terms of Use
Translation of the Portuguese original. If there is any difference, the Portuguese version prevails.
By using O Relógio, you agree to these terms. They’re short: the site is a set of free time tools.
1. The service
O Relógio, a product of DANTAI (CNPJ 00.176.524/0001-38), offers a clock, alarm clock, stopwatch, timer and world clock that run in your browser. It’s free and requires no sign-up.
2. Limits of the alarm clock and timer
Alarms ring while a page of the site is open and the device is on, unlocked and not muted. A closed browser, a tab discarded by the system, a locked phone, battery saver mode or low or muted volume can stop the alarm from ringing. Don’t rely on the site as your only alarm for important things such as medication times, travel or work appointments: always keep a backup alarm.
3. Time and time zones
The time comes from your device clock, checked against our server, and time zones come from the public IANA database. Governments can change time zones and daylight saving rules at short notice; check the official source when the exact time matters.
4. Links to other sites
The site may link to other sites and advertisers, which have their own rules. O Relógio is not responsible for their content, prices or services.
5. Permitted use
You may use the site freely, including in classrooms, presentations and events. You may not copy content in bulk, collect data automatically (bots, scraping) without permission, or try to harm the site’s operation or security.
6. Intellectual property
The O Relógio brand, design, texts, sounds and code belong to DANTAI.
7. Ads
The site may show third-party ads. An ad is not an endorsement of the advertiser. See the Privacy Policy to learn how ads use data.
8. Liability
The site is provided “as is”. DANTAI works to keep the tools accurate and available, but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation on every device and browser, and is not liable for delays or losses caused by an alarm that didn’t ring, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The date of the latest version is always shown at the top of this page.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to any rights you have under the law of your country.
11. Contact
